He meets Claudius' eyes again and nods. He can see that knowing pain again, in the way Claudius holds his body, in his gaze, in the softness of his voice and the pauses he leaves, in the hundreds of pages of cypher he's left for Galahad to study. When they sat together in front of the fountain, Galahad remembers thinking he knows what it is not to have been loved, and how it was that moment when he realized Claudius had something to give him that Percival couldn't.

He leans down, touching his forehead to Claudius', eyes closed.
